Okay, last week wasn't my best effort. But in my defense, I didn't like the lines and wouldnt have bet any of them. However, I went 1-2 and Im not happy about it. Today I sing my redemption song.
Minnesota -11 @ St. Louis: I am now convinced that St Louis is the worst team in the NFC and maybe even the NFL. Minnesota is poised for somewhat of a letdown game on the road this week, but I just think the talent discrepancy is too much. I think this game has 27-10 written all over it.
Washington +4.5 @ Carolina: Its hard to pick the Redskins, period. But they have only allowed 62 points all season (best in their division, 3rd best in the NFC) and the Panthers have only scored 37 (2nd worst in the NFL). So I expect a low scoring game decided by a field goal.
Atlanta +2.5 @ 49'ers: Admittedly, I dont love this game but I just dont think the 49'ers are that good. They have beat St. Louis, Arizona, and Seattle....not entirely impressive and the Falcons are coming off a bye week and a loss before that. I expect a Falcons win by a TD or more.
I am committing a novices blunder by picking 3 road teams this week, but I think you'll find they are winners.
