I put myself behind the 8 ball this week by not taking any Thanksgiving games considering there were two of them I liked.
Minnesota (-1.5) at Washington
Taking home dogs usually goes against everything I believe in but Minnesota is a talented team despite their record and I think without Brad Childress there I think the players will be motivated to play.
**Kansas City at Seattle (+2)**
Minus the game against the Giants, Seattle has been good at home. The Chiefs are coming back down to earth in the last couple of weeks.
Tennessee at Houston (-5)
For lack of a better game...Houston is bad at stopping the pass but I still don't see Rusty Smith being able to pass all over anyone. Besides, the Texans are due for a win.

2010 NFL Picks - Week 11
**Oakland @ Pittsburgh (-7)**
Oakland has been feisty but going on the road against the best team in the AFC is tough
Seattle @ New Orleans (-11.5)
Seattle on the road....Seattle on the road
Indianapolis @ New England (-4)
I just don't see how the Colts can keep keeping it close with all their injuries

Bobs NFL Picks: Week 11
Not a fan of the lines this week and didn't really spend too much time looking at them, so no guarantees.
Detroit @ Dallas (-6.5): I got killed by Dallas all season, but I honestly believe that the new coach is going to turn their season around. In Dallas, less than a TD....sounds good to me.
Indy (+4) @ New England: The Colts have been miserable ATS this year, and New England has had some great wins (with the exception of that Cleveland loss) but I expect manning to keep it close enough to cover or win.
Cleveland (+2.5) @ Jacksonville: Coming off games against Pitt, New Orleans, New England and the Jets, the Browns realize they need to capitalize on the easier part of their schedule which starts today.

Bobs NFL Picks: Week 10
I rushed through my picks last week and I paid the price, so this week I'm getting them up early. Although I went 1-2, I'm at .500 for the year and in serious striking distance of Keith. Good lines this week make it tough to narrow down to 3, but I think Ive got the ones I want.
Jets (-3) @ Cleveland: I knew once I picked New England last week that it was a total trap. The same can be said for this week, but I doubt it. The Jets are significantly better than NE defensively and Cleveland is coming off 2 great wins, this is their let down week.
St. Louis (+6) @ San Francisco: Ive loved St Louis all year and i especially love this line. San Fran may be better than the 2-6 record, but I don't see them winning this convincingly, if at all.
Detroit @ Buffalo (-3): This is it. This is finally the week Buffalo gets a win after several brutal losses in a row. I actually like a few lines better than this one, but I want to be on board when they get their first win.

Bobs NFL Picks: Week 9
I am putting these picks up late, but they were made on time. Not like it helped that much this week. But I have climbed back to .500, which is impressive considering my dismal start. Its only a matter of time before I catch Keith. He can hear the footsteps.
*Win* Kansas City @ Oakland (+1): My favorite bet of the week almost didn't cover. But it did.
*Loss* New England (-4.5) @ Cleveland: Stupid, stupid pick. This was the easiest trap line to read of all time and I still bought into it. Stupid stupid.
*Loss* San Diego @ Houston (-3): I don't regret this bet. The Chargers were without 50% of their starting offense and have been dismal all year on the road and in general. I believe in the Texans. Well, believed.

2010 NFL Picks - Week 9
Tampa (+9) @ Atlanta
Even though we all know Tampa isn't as good as their record, they believe they are as good as their record and that's all it takes sometimes. Atlanta will win but not by more than 9.
**Chicago vs. Buffalo (+3)**
Buffalo gets their first win of the year today in Toronto
Giants @ Seattle (+7.5)
I'm trying something out with this one. Everyone in the world seems to think the Giants are going to roll. Lines makers don't make it this easy. Seattle is the best home field advantage and Whitehurst might have been the better option over Hassleback anyway this week because he is more capable of buying more time with his legs.

Brett Favre - The Biggest Warrior in the History of Warriors
Look at that picture. Brett Favre's career might be over. Two guys are helping him and one guy might actually be holding his jaw in place. What a warrior. It's a shame he has to go out that way.
Oh wait a minute...it was only eight stitches. I once cut my finger open and didn't tell anyone, wrapped it in paper towel and drove myself to the Urgent Care clinic for 5 stitches. But based on Brett Favre's math, I should have had 1.25 people helping me and maybe even holding my finger for me while getting a lot of sympathy from my co-workers.
F' him. I'm over his whole retire/unretire thing. It's annoying but if the guy wants to play, who am I to begrudge him that. What's getting under my skin now is how after every hit or every bad throw he has to limp or hold his arm like what he did was the most painful thing he's ever done in his life. But then the next possession he'll throw a bullet 60 yards in the air and run down the field and jump in to his receiver's arms.
Thank god for the Jenn Sterger thing. That'll probably be the thing that prevents him from coming back next year. F' Him
